How to assemble your sofubi toy (home assembly)
Sofubi toys are made of soft vinyl, which becomes flexible when gently heated. This allows the limbs and head to be safely inserted without tools or glue.
What you’ll need
– A hair dryer
– Clean hands
– A flat, stable surface
No glue, screws, or force are required.
Step-by-step assembly instructions
Start with one part at a time.

Warm the body opening
Use a hair dryer on medium heat and aim it at the socket (neck or shoulder opening) for about 20–30 seconds.
The vinyl should feel warm and slightly flexible, not hot.

Warm the limb or head peg
Briefly warm the connecting peg of the head, arm, or leg for 10–15 seconds.

Insert the part
Gently press the peg into the softened opening using steady, even pressure.
Do not twist aggressively or force it.

Hold and let cool
Hold the part in place for 10–20 seconds while the vinyl cools.
As it cools, the vinyl will tighten and secure the piece.

Repeat for remaining parts
Repeat the process for the other arm(s), leg(s), and head.
Important safety notes
– Do not use boiling water or open flames
– Do not overheat the vinyl
– Adult supervision is recommended
– Allow parts to cool fully before play or display
